Do you remember what it felt like to be a child? Lightness and freedom in your body? A beautiful smooth skin? Pain-free limbs? Frequent moments of pure joy? That was your birthright. And it can be recaptured. You can clean out your system and uncover a healthy, happy ‘child’ underneath.
We live in a polluted world, with thousands of chemicals in our environment that humans have never had to deal with before. We eat processed foods – like refined starches in bread and pastry, excess sugar in biscuits and chocolate, and foods full of chemical additives. Then we rush through our days, never stopping long enough to allow our body to use its powers of recuperation. We get sick frequently and gulp down the antibiotics which wreck our guts. Before long, we have a clogged system, stuffed with toxins and lurking pathogens, and are running on about 20% of our true capacity.

WHO'S DOWN THERE?
Yet the body can bounce back, given the chance. Just clean it out, set it on its feet and off it goes – a happy human. The key is this peculiar tube we have down our middle that we call the digestive system. It runs right down from our throat, through the stomach, through the guts and out the other end. When it’s clean and running well it extracts the ‘goodness’ from every mouthful that we eat, delivers essential nutrients and energy to the bloodstream and safely removes all the unwanted rubbish, within hours of consumption. But when it’s clogged, slow, inefficient or broken down the functioning of our whole body can be affected.
Not many people realise that the state of their digestive system depends who is living down there, because a healthy digestive system should be full of beneficial bacteria. You should actually be carrying over three pounds in weight of them inside you. And if you have the right bacteria as your lodgers - often called the ‘flora’ because they’re like an internal garden - they work tireless wonders for your body, mind and soul.
The trouble is, a lot of undesirables may also have set up house in your gut, because our modern lifestyle is exactly to their taste. Fungi, moulds, parasites (now common in the UK), yeasts like Candida albicans or simply the wrong kind of bacteria could all be thriving inside you. And as long as these fellow travelers are partying in your system you’ll be constantly below par or fatigued, having headaches, breaking out in spots, finding it hard to concentrate, feeling really low or even wondering if life is worth living.

IT'S WHAT WE DON'T EAT
Why is this happening to so many of us now? Partly it’s due to what we eat, particularly sugar – which is like heroin to those greedy invaders. Did you know that a hundred years ago we’d have been lucky to consume as much as a pound of sugar in a year? Chemicals too, like fluoridated and chlorinated water can devastate the healthy flora, allowing noxious organisms to take over. But by far the most common cause is prescription drugs. Painkillers can seriously undermine the gut and, even worse, are antibiotics, because they kill all the good bacteria along with the bad, leaving the flora dead.
But it’s also what we don’t eat these days that counts. Less than a hundred years ago our food came from soil that was free of chemicals. There were no pesticides or insecticides then, and the soil was alive with beneficial micro-organisms (bacteria and bacilli, etc). Back then, every time we ate food, we consumed millions of those tiny organisms as well, because the vegetables and the fruit came with from living soil and the organisms came with them. Long forgotten, these micro-organisms are rapidly gaining new respect. Scientists now refer to them as Soil Based Organisms, or
SBOs. SBOs have been missing from the soil and from our food since World War II. At the same time, the incidence of chronic and degenerative disease has risen alarmingly.

GUT ISSUES
Early last century many doctors believed that ‘intestinal toxaemia’ (undigested rotting food leaking out of the gut and poisoning the body) was a cause of, or contributing factor to, most disease. Today’s medical experts are beginning to admit that an injured flora may be the common weakness that allows many chronic diseases to gain a foothold. The early warning signs include chronic fatigue, allergies and sensitivities, vitamin deficiencies and anaemia, high cholesterol, hormonal imbalances, crippling PMS and menstrual complaints, rapid onset osteoporosis, and most importantly poor resistance to infection leading to more serious illness.
Now it is common knowledge that supplementing with probiotics and natural soured milk products can help to rebuild resistance to disease. However, what is often missed is that, once pathogenic micro-organisms seriously outnumber the gut flora, probiotics alone cannot help. This is where Soil Based Organisms come in.

WHAT DO SBOS DO
The action of SBOs in the human body includes producing antibiotics and vitamins, ensuring complete digestion, stimulating gut wall immunity and most importantly devouring the pathogenic yeasts, moulds, fungi and bacteria that flourish in malfunctioning guts, such as the debilitating Candida albicans. This is welcome news for those battling with this temperamental pest that can wreck lives by going undetected for years and causing chronic symptoms of profound fatigue, bizarre "dry drunkenness", memory loss, brain fog, constipation and painful bloating. The good news is that, once colonized, SBOs work industriously to "de-scale" the colon and intestines of clinging putrefaction that hampers nutrient absorption, improving small intestinal absorption by up to 60% and allowing the gut wall to repair itself.
But SBOs do more than that. In recent years scientists have begun to realize that SBOs possess remarkable potential for enhancing human health. What is understood so far is that, apart from the remarkable action SBOs exert on the gut, these clever organisms actually enter into a unique partnership with the human immune system which biologists term symbiosis. Put simply once they drop anchor on the gut wall, SBOs secrete specialized proteins that trigger the human immune system to multiply its normal output of antibodies. With the antibody deck stacked in this way, if a pathogen invades the body, these dormant reserves instantly become ‘imprinted’ with the precise information required to attack the invader and the infection is quickly overcome without a shot being fired. This extra contingent of antibodies will remain on standby for as long as SBOs are consumed regularly. In this way we can triple or quadruple our passive immune resistance...

Take the Ultimate Cleanse with Nature’s Biotic

Week 1:
Take one capsule a day 30 minutes before a meal with cold (or cool) juice, spring or filtered water.

Week 2:
Take one capsule twice a day, as above.

Week 3:
Take one capsule three times a day. If appropriate increase as follows:

Week 4:
Take four capsules a day.

Week 5:
Take five capsules a day.
Week 6: Take 6 capsules a day.

Maintenance: Take 6 capsules a day (or your maximum dose if lower) for 6 months or longer, then reduce to a maintenance level of 2 or 3 capsules a day.
The above program is optimal; however taking 2-3 capsules per day will still produce excellent results.

THE IMMUNE HANDSHAKE'
This simple “immune handshake" between bacteria and body also produces a rise in the heavyweight immunity molecule, alpha-interferon. Scientists have long sought to reproduce this elusive polypeptide to treat disorders such as AIDS, HIV, Hepatitis and Multiples Sclerosis. Unfortunately, the man-made form of alpha-interferon has low biological potency and low safety. Yet SBOs are able to boost the body’s production of an astonishing 16 of the 20 sub-species of interferon. The resulting explosion in Killer T-cells enables the body to tackle even serious infections.
What’s more, SBOs also produce a potent antioxidant enzyme called Super Oxide Dismutase that acts as a super-scavenger to ferret out the noxious end-products of metabolism called free radicals. Free radicals increase in disease states and attack any molecule in the body, creating organ or tissue damage and inflammation. Studies at John Hopkins University have shown that SBOs prevent such damage occurring to the heart after heart attacks, and in many disease states of the kidneys, pancreas and skin.
Finally SBOs are a superfood that can prevent iron deficiency by supplying iron’s transporter molecule, lactoferrin, ensuring that 95% of dietary iron is delivered to the receptors where it is required. Iron deficiency is more common than you might think, and iron, remember, is essential for red blood cells and the oxygen they bring to the whole body, without which we would have no energy at all. Similarly SBOs supply nucleic acids like DNA and RNA, which the body can readily assimilate for rapid healing of burns, ulcers, surgical incisions and infected wounds. And if all that wasn't enough SBOs are an abundant dietary source of over 61 micronutrients including chlorophyll, fatty acids, proteolytic enzymes, amino acids, nucleic acids, vitamins, minerals and key enzymes for the malnourished gut.
One of the most important keys to health is also very simple. If you cleanse, repair and repopulate your digestive system with a truly healthy flora, by bringing back the soil based organisms that have always been a part of the human diet, you can raise your body to a whole new level of health and well being - one that you may not have experienced since you were a child.
